Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport for your Cairo, Sahara Desert and Nile cruise package, you’ll be met by our company representative who will then accompany you to the deluxe 5-Star Hotel in Cairo where you will be staying for the first two nights in the country. We only partner with the best hotels so your comfort is guaranteed.
Your tour manager will be happy to assist you with check-in formalities, and then he’ll want to go over your itinerary with you and confirm pick up times and etc. After all the serious business has been taken care of you’ll be offered a free “Welcome” drink and then you’ll be left in peace. Relax and unwind in your hotel, or brave the chaos of Cairo and venture out for some fun on your own.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, after which you’ll be met by your own personal tour guide. Your guide will accompany you to the Great Pyramids of Giza, and will be more than happy to answer any questions you have concerning the pyramids and there ancient history. After your tour of the pyramids is complete, lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.
Following lunch, you’ll be taken to the famous Egyptian Museum and the Treasures room of King Tutankhamen. With ample time left, your guide will then transfer you to Coptic Cairo so that you can explore the Hanging Church and also the Ben Ezra Synagogue. To round of your first day, you’ll be taken to the Khan el Khalili Bazaar which dates back to 1382. Here you can simply stroll around taking in the sites, or you can enjoy a very unique shopping experience. After you have finished at the bazaar you will be driven back to your hotel where you will once again be staying for the night.

Wake up and enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel while you wait for our representative to pick you up at around 07h00. After you have been checked out from your hotel you will then travel to Alamein, which typically takes about three hours. Once you arrive you’ll have the opportunity to visit the WW II Museum; the Common Wealth Cemetery, and the site of the Great Battle which took place there during the last World War.
You’ll will then head off to the stunningly beautiful resort town known as the Bay of Marsa Matrouh situated on the Mediterranean coastline. Finally, you will travel to the Siwa oasis where you’ll stay for the night at a really nice hotel, the 4-Star Ghaliet Ecolodge and Spa.

Enjoy your complimentary breakfast, and then it’s time to explore the Siwa Oasis, before moving on to Aghurmi Village to see the Temple of Amun that’s dedicated to a 26th Dynasty God, Amon. Other temples will include the famous Um Ubeyda temple, prior to your transfer to Cleopatra Spring. After spending some time at Cleopatra Spring, your guide will take you to see the Siwa House Museum, and then it’s on to the Mountain of the Dead to explore several interesting tombs.
Later in the afternoon, after seeing the Dakrour Mountains, your guide will take you to enjoy a fabulous sunset at Fitnas Island, before finally returning to your hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide and driver will transfer you to large Bahariya Oasis in a 4×4 vehicle. This journey generally takes around six hours, including a stop for lunch. Once you reach the International Hotsprings Hotel where you will stay for the night, you’ll have plenty of time to relax after the long journey, and enjoy a really fine dinner too.

After you’ve enjoyed breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be taken on a local tour to see the English House which is a local hill top ruin. You will then be transferred to the following sites: Valley of the Golden Mummies, Tombs of Nobles, Alexander Temple, and Temple of Ain el Muftella.
Lunch will be provided in Bahariya before you make your way to the White Desert. On the way there, the route will pass through the Black Desert and also through the Valley of El Haiz. You’ll also make a stop so that you can see the spectacular quartz crystal for which Crystal Mountain is famous for. Finally, enjoy a hearty evening dinner while camping at a campsite in the desert where you will stay for the night.

Day 7 starts with a drive to see the Bir Setah hot springs and a unique mud brick art museum, both located in the Farafra Oasis. After this, you will be transferred to Dakhla Oasis, with the journey usually taking around three hours. Once you arrive at your destination, you’ll be taken to see an ancient Roman Temple as well as an historical Roman burial ground. After spending some time here, your guide will take you to explore a few Islamic villages which are home to many old ruins, and then finally to the fantastic Desert Lodge Hotel where you will stay for the night in one of its beautifully appointed rooms.

After breakfast you’ll be driven to Kharga Oasis so that you can visit an ancient Roman fortress known as Qasr El Labkha. This is followed by a visit to: Roman Temple of Hibis and Temple of Nadura, The Christian cemetery of Al Bagawat, and Temple of Qasr Dush (dedicated to Isis). Tonight you will stay at a lovely campsite at the Kharga Oasis.

Once you’ve finished enjoying your breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Luxor. Since the journey takes roughly six hours, no other activities are scheduled, thereby giving you ample time to relax at the deluxe Sonesta St. George Hotel where you will stay for the night.

After a pleasant hotel breakfast, you’ll be taken so you can check-in for your Nile cruise aboard a luxurious 5-Star Nile cruise ship. After lunch you’ll leave the cruise ship to visit a few impressive sites, including the Luxor Temple and the Karnak Temples. Dinner will be served on-board, and the first night of your Nile cruise will be spent on the River Nile at Luxor.

Wake up and enjoy a good breakfast aboard the cruise ship and then you will be taken to visit the Valley of the Kings, home to 62 ancient tombs. This excursion also includes visiting the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. After your tour, and after a pleasant lunch, your Nile cruise ship will set sail towards Edfu. Tonight, you’ll have dinner on the Nile at Edfu where you will be spending this night of your Nile cruise.

After a good on board breakfast aboard the cruise ship, you’ll be taken to visit a Ptolemaic Temple which was dedicated to God Horus at Edfu. Next, you will return to the cruise ship and it will then cruise to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Temple of Sobek. The Temple of Sobek at Kom Ombo is a famous temple dedicated to the crocodile god. Lunch will be served on board the cruise ship while you cruise along the Nile towards Aswan. Dinner will again be served on board in the evening, and you will spend this night of your Nile cruise on the waters of the Nile at Aswan.

Breakfast will be served on the Nile cruise ship, and this will be followed by a day packed full of interesting sites in and around Aswan including the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. As night time draws close, you’ll return to your Nile cruise ship where you’ll be served dinner, after which you can relax while you stare at the starry sky, or simply retire to your bed for the night. Enjoy another blissful night aboard the cruise ship on the quiet waters of the Nile at Aswan.

Day 14 of your Luxury Nile cruise and stay marks the end of your luxurious Nile cruise. After you’ve finished enjoying your breakfast, it will be time for you to disembark from your cruise. A representative and a driver will then transfer you to Aswan Airport where you’ll board a flight back to Cairo. Once you arrive in Cairo, you’ll once again be met and taken the deluxe hotel where you’ll stay for your last night in Egypt. Spend the time you have left relaxing at your hotel, or head out into the city for one last taste of Cairo.

The day you have been dreading has finally dawned, and it is time for you to bid the pharaohs farewell. Enjoy a good breakfast at your hotel, and then we’ll take to the airport for your flight back home. If there was any aspect of your vacation which you feel can be improved upon, please inform your manager before you wave goodbye.
